Image Requirements
When selecting some of your pictures to upload to ShutterFarm, you should keep in mind that this is a stock image archive,
not a personal gallery. We are looking for photos that are creative, interesting
and useful at the same time. They should be large, sharp and properly lit. Good composition and good quality is a must.
- All images must be a minimum 1.92 mega pixels (the height x width of your image in pixels) and 300dpi
- Maximum file size allowed is 100MB
- You should always provide the largest size possible (without "upsizing")
- You may submit photographs and other digital images
- All images must be in .jpg format (vector graphics will be accepted at a later date)
- All work must be owned by you. Adding text or an effect to an existing stock photo does not constitute ownership of an image
- Do not submit upsized images to try to meet the minimum requirement
- Do not submit images with any text, timestamp or watermark
- Do not sumbit images with frames around them
- Do not submit images that are rotated the wrong way
- Don't send the same image in color, black and white and your color of the day.
- You may love your dog, but we won't, so don't send 10 pictures of your dog
- No pornographic or violent images will be accepted
Image quality is the most important criteria of image selection. Images containing under/over exposure, chromatic aberration
out of focus, distant subjects, saturation, contrast, noise, and pixelation will be declined.
