ShutterFarm conforms to and respects trademark and international copyright laws. We will not accept any image containing company logos, trademarks names of companies, names of products, logos. We will also not accept protected product designs such as toys (eg. Lego) and trademark computers (eg. Apple MAC). We also don't accept images with clearly identifiable clothing

The same attention is paid to property laws as well.

It is prohibited to deposit the photographs or capture an image that violates another authors royalties. To submit a photograph you must be the owner of the image and the items featured or have written permission to use the items in the photograph.

It is illegal to submit images of the following categories without serious legal penalties:

• Representations of protected artistic or literary works (painting, sculpture, text, photograph, etc.)
• Copies of images coming from other stock image databases.
• Copy of charts, texts, drawings which you do not hold the copyright.
• Images or photographs derived from a work of which you are not the author

If submitted material contains any of these or other types of copyrighted content, you must either submit releases from the copyright owners or you must mark the images as editorial.
